Oracle

Oracle - The BarnOracle is a technology company that unlocks the full potential of enterprise AI for organizations around the world. With AI built into every layer of the technology stack, including its leading database and data platform, complete suite of applications, and the fastest-growing compute and storage infrastructure to power it all, Oracle delivers a uniquely integrated approach to AI. From nonprofits to large corporations, customers in every industry can harness the latest breakthroughs to solve their most complex problems and redefine what’s possible in business.

Amid adoption of AI across industries including automotive manufacturing, agriculture and healthcare, Oracle is building out critical infrastructure, including data centers, to meet the demand. This includes partnering with communities such as Saline Township in Washtenaw County to develop The Barn, in partnership with Related Digital.

A multibillion-dollar investment, the largest in Michigan’s history, The Barn is a state-of-the-art data center campus that will deliver thousands of union construction jobs, hundreds of permanent jobs, and long-term economic and community benefits for Saline Township and the state of Michigan. The project is expected to generate billions of dollars in tax revenue, averaging more than $150 million per year for the better part of two decades, benefitting schools, emergency services, and infrastructure projects in Saline Township and throughout Washtenaw County.

In celebrating the rich history of unions in Michigan, The Barn is the first data center campus in the country to be built under a first-in-the-nation project labor agreement executed under the National Maintenance Agreement with 14 affiliated skilled trade unions. It is also the first campus to be built under a memorandum of understanding between OpenAI and North America’s Building Trades Union (NABTU).

Oracle is deeply proud to be part of Michigan’s legacy of innovation, and we are thrilled to partner with Ann Arbor SPARK as a sponsor of a2Tech360. We are honored to be part of this exceptional event with its incredible ecosystem of entrepreneurs, creators and researchers who are all dedicated to shaping the future of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, and the state of Michigan.

OpenAI - a2Tech360 2026 Presenting Sponsor

OpenAI is an AI research and deployment company. Our mission is to ensure that artificial general intelligence benefits all of humanity. We build AI systems and tools that help people learn, create, solve problems, and pursue new opportunities, while working to ensure the benefits of increasingly capable AI are broadly shared.

Michigan is an important part of that future. Through Stargate, OpenAI is investing in the AI infrastructure needed to support the next generation of innovation while creating new opportunities for American workers, businesses, and communities. In Saline Township, OpenAI and Oracle are developing a new Stargate campus as part of our broader U.S. infrastructure expansion. The project is expected to create more than 2,500 union construction jobs while contributing to economic growth across Washtenaw County and Southeast Michigan.

Our commitment extends beyond building infrastructure. OpenAI believes the communities that help make AI infrastructure possible should share in its benefits. That means investing in local jobs and workforce pathways, education and AI literacy, community institutions, and partnerships that help residents and businesses participate in the emerging AI economy.

We are proud to partner with Ann Arbor SPARK and a2Tech360 and to be part of a region with a deep tradition of engineering, research, entrepreneurship, advanced manufacturing, and technological innovation. We look forward to working alongside entrepreneurs, educators, students, researchers, businesses, and community leaders across Ann Arbor and Washtenaw County to help ensure the next chapter of Michigan innovation creates opportunity for everyone.
