Keynote Speaker: Daniel Rhodes
Dan Rhodes is a scientist and entrepreneur. He is currently co-founder and CEO of Strata Oncology where he has raised more than $100M to transform cancer treatment with advanced molecular diagnostics. Dan is also a co-founder and Board member of Aclys Bio, an antibody therapeutics company.
Previously, Dan was co-founder and CEO of Compendia Bioscience, a University of Michigan spin-off formed to commercialize his PhD thesis project, Oncomine, a cancer genome data-mining platform. Compendia was acquired by Life Technologies (Thermo Fisher), where Dan then served as VP of Oncology and oversaw the development of cancer sequencing products and companion diagnostic partnerships.
Dan has co-authored 50+ publications and is a co-inventor on 12 patents. In 2022, Dan received the Goldman Sachs Builders and Innovators Award and in 2019, Dan was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for the Midwest region. Dan currently serves on the Rackham Graduate School Career Pathways Council and has previously served on multiple University of Michigan advisory boards.
